Part of Fazenda Santana belongs to the family's matriarch, Mrs. Maria Aparecida Pereira. With 80 years experience in agriculture producing coffee and milk, the farm has always been concerned with the quality of its products and environmental preservation, pursuing sustainable production development.

This is the first year that Fazenda Santana is taking part in the Cafés do Brasil Quality Contest. Using the structure of Romeu Francisco Junqueira Guimarães's and Benedito Pereira de Faria's farm, Fazenda Santana aimed at producing quality coffees - pulped by the wet method - to improve its price average.
