Acquired by Romeu Francisco Junqueira Guimarães in the 70's, with an initial area of 16 hectares, later extended to 64.23 hectares, distributed as follows: 36 hectares with coffee plantations, 21 hectares with pastures, 4 hectares of reforested area (eucalyptus), 2 hectares with rain Forest, 1 hectare for the coffee processing area (bins, terraces and equipment to dry and process coffee), the balance with the farm house and an orchard.

Concern with quality

Since Sítio Laranja-Cravo took part in the 2002 edition of the Cafés do Brasil Quality Contest it has continuously improved the quality of its coffees, in a work dedicated to disclose to the world the coffees of the southern part of the State of Minas Gerais.
