An agronomist, graduated in 1989, Márcio Luiz Bérgamo Fávaro is dedicated to high quality coffee production, always seeking new varieties to renew his plantations. Since his childhood, he has been in contact with coffee plantations, influenced by his father, Mr. Norival Fávaro.

Coffee processing system

Coffee produced in Sítio Boa Vista is picked on cloth, washed and separated in a mechanical washer, where the cherry beans are processed by the natural pulped method by the humid system. Beans are dried on a covered brick terrace (hot house system), spread in thin layers and constantly turned.

Concern with quality

Since 1998, pulped natural coffees are produced at Sitio Boa Vista. In 1999, with the foundation of PROCED (Associação dos Produtores de Café Descascado de Piraju e Região [Pulped Natural Coffee Producers' Association of Piraju and Region]), an intense work to explain the importance of producing quality coffees was started in the region.

The effort to produce quality coffees, even with the current prices, was compensated by adding value to the product and with the acknowledgement obtained by the classification of such coffees in various contests.
